中國石化新聞網訊 據NaturalGasAsia網站6月21日消息，埃及國家信息與決策支持中心IDSC稱，該國4月天然氣出口同比降低80.9%。

埃及媒體金字塔在線報道，報告稱埃及4月天然氣出口額為3050萬美元，2013年4月則為1.6億美元。

IDSC表示，4月天然氣產量同樣也減少了14%。

埃及政府持樂觀態(tài)度，相信天然氣產量到年底將反彈。

金字塔在線報道，本月早些時候，石油部長謝里夫·伊斯梅爾表示，部分埃及天然氣田預計在未來6月中投產，天然氣產量將增加5億立方英尺/天，12月時達到52億立方英尺/天。

石油部5月預測天然氣總產量在開始于7月的2014-2015財年將提升1.7%，達到54億立方英尺/天。

Egypt's Gas Exports Drops by 81% in April

Egypt's natural gas exports in April dropped by 80.9 percent compared with corresponding period last year, according to state-run Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC).

The report said Egyptian exports of natural gas in April were worth $30.5 million, against $160 million in April of 2013, ahramonline says.

Gas output also declined by 14 percent in April, according to IDSC.

The government, however, is optimistic that gas production would rebound by year end.

Earlier this month, Petroleum Minister Sherif Ismail said that several gas fields in Egypt are expected to start production in the next six months, raising gas production by 500 million cubic feet per day (mcf/d) to reach 5.2 billion cubic feet per day (bcf/d) by December, reports ahramonline.
